How Much Should I Charge?

Personal View On Investing

Many people worry about investing in the stock market. They fear that they will lose money. It is true that some stocks can crash to where they are worth almost nothing (eg. Nortel, .com bust), but that case is rare. Historically, the value of stocks have increased, on average, ten percent per year.

I do not think it is wise to invest money that you NEED into the stock market. I also don’t think it’s wise to borrow money to invest in the stock market. Instead, invest disposable income that you would usually use to buy a new car, go to the movies, or buy booze. Consider it to be an experiment which will pay off big, long-term.
